Michael Pleasant
Senior EPM Cloud Architect
With over 25 years of experience across the full BI and EPM landscape, Michael brings rare end-to-end depth to every engagement — from architecting multidimensional databases to delivering the reporting and training that makes adoption stick. His expertise spans the complete Oracle/Hyperion suite, with deep specialization in Planning, Essbase, Financial Reporting, and Smart View.
Michael is equally at home in the technical and the instructional — designing solutions and then ensuring the people who use them actually understand them. Known for meeting organizations where they are, he works across senior management, operations, and end users to identify needs, model the data, and deliver tools that surface the KPIs that matter. His fluency in JavaScript, VBA, and ETL processes means he can extend and integrate EPM platforms well beyond their out-of-the-box capabilities.

Farman Khan
Senior EPM Cloud Architect
With over 15 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Oracle-Hyperion design, development, and management consulting, Farman brings a breadth of expertise that spans both the technical and the strategic. His work spans the full Oracle EPM stack — from Essbase (BSO and ASO) and Hyperion Planning to DRM, FDMEE, HFM, HPCM, and Financial Reporting — with specialist-level depth in Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (PBCS/EPBCS).
What sets Farman apart is the range of industries he has successfully delivered in — financial services, public sector, telecommunications, media, pharmaceutical, retail, and insurance, among others. That cross-industry experience means he understands that EPM implementations are never just technical exercises; they reflect how an organization thinks about its data, its processes, and its decisions. He brings that perspective to every engagement, connecting application integration and design to outcomes that matter to the business.

Matt Varner
Senior EPM Cloud Architect
With over 20 years of experience spanning the evolution of Oracle's EPM ecosystem, Matt specializes in architecting solutions that bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. His expertise began in the foundational days of Hyperion Planning and Essbase, and he has spent the last two decades helping organizations with Hyperion and Oracle Planning across both on-premises and Cloud environments.
Matt is a specialist in Groovy scripting and advanced automation, leveraging these tools to streamline processes and extend the core capabilities of the EPM platform. Having led high-stakes engagements in both independent and team roles, he has earned a reputation for translating intricate design decisions into robust, long-term architectures. Known for building systems that "actually hold up," he focuses on delivering scalable solutions that remain resilient as business needs evolve.
