Michael has expertise in many areas of Oracle/Hyperion development and implementation, specializing in Planning,
Essbase, Financial Reporting, Smart View, and Interactive Reporting. He also delivers training/instruction on Hyperion Financial Reporting, Hyperion Smart View, Hyperion Interactive Reporting, Hyperion Planning (including Classic administration and EPMA), HFM, Essbase, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), and Oracle BI Publisher.
Additionally, Michael has expertise in visual object-oriented development, particularly utilizing JavaScript and VBA.
He is also experienced with the ETL/data enrichment process and data modeling; highly proficient with many database platforms, including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and Informix.
Typical engagements involve end-to-end development; this includes meeting with senior management, operational management, and end users to identify needs, architecting the overall solution, data modeling, and developing and deploying the solution; solutions include reports, analytical tools, and dashboards to help users and management identify and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
